CE INFORMATION
ACTRIMS and ECTRIMS are dedicated to advancing the continuing education of healthcare practitioners. MSToronto2026 participants can earn Continuing Education (CE) credits for attending accredited sessions, including both the Pre-Day and Joint Meeting.
Educational Credits
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association (IPMA) and ACTRIMS. IPMA is accredited by ACCME to provide continuing education for physicians.
IPMA designates this live activity for a maximum of 79* AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Through the American Board of Medical Specialties’ (ABMS) ongoing commitment to increase access to practice relevant Continuing Certification Activities through the ABMS Continuing Certification Directory, MSToronto2026 has met the requirements as a Lifelong Learning CME Activity (apply toward general CME requirement) for the following ABMS Member Boards:
- ABMS Lifelong Learning CME Activity
- Psychiatry and Neurology
- ABMS Continuing Certification Diplomate Survey
This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation.
Through an agreement of mutual recognition of credits between the American Medical Association (AMA) and the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), physicians may convert AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to an equivalent number of European CME credits (ECMEC®s). This applies to live educational activities and e-learning materials certified by U.S.-based providers accredited by ACCME.
