MSToronto2026 welcomes media participation at the 10th Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting

Eligibility

To receive a complimentary press pass for MSToronto2026, media representatives must register as press either online or onsite in Toronto. Registration will be confirmed following review and validation of submitted credentials (e.g., a valid press card or a letter of assignment).

Accredited media will have access to the Press & Media Portal. This portal includes press materials, policies, and information for attending MSToronto2026.

Embargo Policy

The following embargo policies are strictly enforced. Media organizations that fail to comply may have their press credentials suspended, which may affect access to current and future abstracts.

The full text of regular abstracts will be published on the MSToronto2026 website on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 8:00 AM ET.

The full text of late-breaking abstracts will be published on the MSToronto2026 website on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 8:00 AM ET.

The embargo on data contained in poster presentations lifts when the ePosters become available in the event app and on the digital platform on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 7:00 AM ET.

The embargo on data presented in oral presentations lifts at the start of the respective session.

Journalists or sponsors who wish to issue press releases in advance of the embargo date that contain no presentation data but include general “top line” information must obtain approval from the MSToronto2026 Program Committee. The Committee may require revisions to the text before granting permission for release. For details, please contact the Press & Media Team at press.mstoronto@actrims.org.

Filming, Photography, and Recording Policy

Filming, photography, and audio recording are permitted at MSToronto2026 only with prior approval during registration. Individuals with approved permission will receive a designation on their badge.

Without this designation, filming, photography, or audio recording is permitted only in the following “free-to-record” areas:

  • Press Room
  • Outside the Main Entrance

Permission is required to film, photograph, or record audio in the following areas:

  • Scientific sessions
  • Industry-organized sessions
  • Poster Area (close-up photography or filming of posters is permitted only with the presenting author’s approval; all captured poster data must be blurred)
  • Registration area
  • Inside the Main Entrance

Filming in any other areas is strictly prohibited.

  • All photos, videos, or recordings may be used only for information and communication purposes and must credit the source.
  • Artificial lighting may not be used during presentations.
  • Flash photography during scientific presentations and plenary sessions is strictly prohibited.
  • MSToronto2026 personnel may interrupt or stop any filming or recording that is deemed disruptive or hazardous.
